Revisiting an old friend - I wore through alot of these way back when they were made in Ireland. Absolultely loved them, and really looked forward to re-acquaint myself with their comfort and durability from their new factory in China. I seem to have alot of difficulty getting comfort and durability out of anything around these days, and that is not price dependent. My shoe size is 10D, and in the old days just had to tell the salesman the size and whether it was a Bostonian, Clarks, or Florsheim, the shoe would fit perfectly. Not any more. When I received these, they are visually the same as I remembered, a very nice style, same as before. I perceived that the upper part of the heel did not curve inward enough to keep it from flopping, kinda like the Gokeys that Orvis sells. But when I actually stepped into the shoe and laced up, they are OK. Not perfect, but quite acceptable. And so, I am ordering another pair in another color. One happy camper, as the saying goes.

My boy is enthralled! & shipping was free! After my teenage son looked all over town for this “latest” shoe that everyone is wearing, (I did tell him that we wore them in the late ’60s & early ’70s), but could not find his size, I ordered them from Zappos’ online store. Not only did the price at Zappos beat the store prices, but shipping was free and I saved the sales tax. The shoes even arrived 2 days earlier than expected. He tells me that fit perfect (of course he tried sizes on 1st), and look great. I will use Zappos again. My wife is online this week for running shoes. My experience at the Zappo website was very comfortable & easier than I expected. Thank you.

My son wears them to death! I was stunned when my 18-year-old son asked for these shoes. The boys were wearing these shoes when I was in high school, and he’d be the first to say that was very long ago! Seems they’re still the comfiest shoes around, and he’s wearing them everywhere. Even his buddies are getting their own pair! True to size, true to history! A shoe shaped like a foot! 1) I look at my foot. 2) I look at any other shoe. 3) I wonder why they are shaped so differently. 4) I look at my Wallabees, and imagine that, it is shaped like my foot! What a concept! But I have very, very wide feet. So I need wide Wallabees. And I can’t find them anywhere. The sole on my last pair is almost worn through, and I am in mourning. Great Shoes! These shoes are awesome. I have very wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable and you can’t beat these for comfort. They mold to your foot and have the softest soles of any shoes I have worn. As for the looks, you can’t beat it as they go great with jeans and slacks. I wear them for litarlly all occassions. I will definitely be a clarks fan for a very long time. My college age sons love this shoe. They say it is like wearing slippers. We live in New Orleans and when Mardi-Gras time rolls around, this is the only shoe they will wear. You see at Mardi-Gras, you have to walk alot to go visit all of your friends and party with them.

Like being barefoot with clean feet! I don’t want to take them off to go to bed! They feel like nothing I’ve ever felt, my favorite use is standing in the kitchen cooking or baking — usually I am barefoot and my legs are so tired afterwards. Wearing these, my feet do not get hot, my legs stay energized. I wear a 6.5 but bought the size 6. It is large enough to be completely roomy without my foot touching anywhere but the bottom. Perfect fit. In the “Beach” style I had tried on in stores, I wore an XS (4-5) so was nervous about getting a 6, but they’re perfect for my 6.5 foot. I want these in every color, I got purple, and wear them with everything anyway, but I plan to buy more. I even wear them to work on casual Fridays! They are NOT like Jellies, which gave me blisters. These are not hard plastic, and are not rubber — very different composition — much more comfortable than Birkenstocks, but I would describe them as a “soft” Birkenstock, but still with support!

I ordered my Crocs about 3 wks ago & I love them! I did order a size smaller & they fit perfectly. They’re extremely comfortable & very, very cute. They’re also more versatile than I expected. They’re equally cute with capris, jeans or a denim mini skirt. I wear them all the time & am thinking of getting another pair in a different color. Treat your feet! This shoe would be perfect if it came in 1/2 sizes. The 10 was too short and an 11 would have me swimming. Too bad cuz Crocs are really, really comfortable and well priced. I’ve been looking for a gardening shoe but this isn’t it, at least for my feet.
I have owned a pair of these for 3 years now, and love them! They are so comfortable, about as good as Dansko’s for arch support and width. They are also washable and so lightweight. Don’t buy cheap copies - not worth it. They come in scrumptious colors, too. Very affordable! I got these before they were trendy, and wore them as camp shoes when hiking. SO comfortable and lightweight to slip into at the end of a long day! They make my feet happy. (I have a friend who even hiked in them–which I don’t necessarily recommend–but she was very happy with them too!)
