Great Shoe! I read the reviews on the Clark’s Firefly and almost didn’t buy it because a few reviewers said they squeaked when walking. Well, I’m here to tell you they may squeak at first, but walk in them for an hour or so. The first day I received them, I went shopping with the shoes on, with no problem except they seemed a little tight. And KUDOS to Zappos! I ordered these on Wed., July 4, and immediately received an email saying that, because of the holiday, I wouldn’t receive the shoe until Friday. But when I got home from work on Thursday, the shoes were waiting for me! WOW!

A good summer sandal - I have purchased many Clarks shoes in the past. This year I got the Clarks Braid sandal and was unhappy. It isn’t wide enough for a wide foot and the places where it is sewn into the sole cut into the sides of my feet. Firefly is much more comfortable and a more substantial sandal. I needed to break in this sandal for a couple of days around the house but I’m happy to report it gives good support and is comfortable for long walking days about town.

This is a great sandal. I chose the honey color and love the shade because it’s versatile. The fit was “right on, very comfortable, and I have VERY “hard to please” feet. There was a slight scrunching of the 4th and 5th toes at first on 1 foot only, but fine now. I like the heel height, also. Great shoe!

I was looking for a casual sandal with good arch support and these are great. Very comfy, and I like sandals without the piece between my toes, so this slider sandal has worked out very nicely. I liked these shoes, but they were a little bigger than I expected. Although, I suspect this was my fault. I have a wide foot, so I usually choose an 81/2M. Well I ordered a W without adjusting the actual size (ie. 8 1/2 W) but it is definitely comfortable and cute! The left shoe was a little tight at first, but after several wearings, it’s better. They go with everything! If I had to order them again, I might go with a half size larger, but they’re not bad as they are.

LOVE Clark’s Firefly - I love these so much I bought them in black and honey. Had to exchange the first two pair, as they run a bit narrow. This surprised me as I am a loyal fan of Clark’s and had not found any other of their shoes to be too narrow. My husband likes these on me, too. The length is perfect. Makes your feet look smaller, I think. I’ll buy them in other colors.

Invest in bandages! These are a great looking pair of sandals BUT they KILLED my feet. At first, they caused cuts on my fourth toes (on both feet) then, when I bandaged up the toes and tried wearing them again, (I really, really wanted them to work and though maybe I had to break them in!) I ended up with 2-inch cuts on the sides of both feet, a few inches below the large toe. They literally cut right into the flesh! I usually do not have this many problems with sandals, as my feet are an M width. I gave them to my niece who also had similar problems with the toe blisters!

Cute & Comfy - I usually wear a 10.5 - 11 and my feet are slightly wide and flat, which makes sandal shopping a challenge. I ordered Regular and Wide widths in size 11; the regular width gave me plenty of room, so I’m sending back the wide. Be warned though: I also noticed that though I ordered two size 11’s, the wide pair I received was a good half-inch longer than the regular-width pair. Bordo brown is a lovely rich color. Love ‘em!

Pretty and pretty painful - These are really pretty shoes, but they can be very painful at first. I bought these so I can wear them while on vacation in NY City and before I made my trip I wore them here and there for four days. I didn’t seem to have any problems, but apparently I didn’t wear them in enough, because when I wore these all day in NY City they gave me some of the worst blisters I have ever had. And I am talking four blisters on each toe, ouch! Overall these are pretty shoes and the shock absorption works as promised. My only recommendation is to wear these for short walks to wear so they get worn in, before you use them on big walks.

Was flatter and more casual than expected from the picture. Felt comfy when I was trying them at home, but was not as comfortable when worn out for the first several times. Acceptable, not the “oh how nice” I’d been hoping for. Crossing finger that they will break into being really comfy rather than just okay.

Very comfortable - This sandal is very comfortable. The first day or so, I had a hard time finding space for my little toe, which seems to get trapped behind one strap, but this uncomfortable feeling went away rather quickly. Now they are my favorite shoes. I feel like I will never want to part with them! I always trust Clarks shoes. I have a wide foot, and Clarks is one of the only brands that not only make wide shoes, but they are truly comfortable.

At first I notice the shoes are made a little larger than you regular size, but due to the fact that I have a bad toe this prevents me from bumping into things and further injuring my toe. Besides the shoes are so comfortable and soft it is a joy to wear them. They are very well made. It was a great buy.

Beautiful, stylish, and comfortable - These shoes are extremely comfortable and can be worn with both pants and skirts. The fit is true to size and width and there was absolutely no break-in period. This is my first pair of Clarks and I wouldn’t hesitate to order another pair. I often wear Naturalizer shoes which are also a good fit for me. I have a narrow foot and the arch support was pretty good.

The great looking “Firefly” feels like walking on clouds. These sandals fit me perfectly right out of the box - no “breaking in” was required. They have a unique and artsy eye-appeal. Most importantly, they have a footbed that is so soft and squishy to the point that you won’t want to take these puppies off! The heel has extra cushioning and there is excellent arch support. These sandals look great and can been worn for long, hard days without a moment’s discomfort. I give them my highest recommendation.

Wonderful after breaking it in a bit! For the first couple weeks I wore these shoes, they rubbed welts across my big toes. I even had to wear band-aids to decrease the friction. However, now that they’re broken in, I love them! They are super comfortable to walk in, even for long distances. And I get compliments on them everywhere I go!

Roomy! I generally take a wide in a dress shoe, but medium in a casual shoe, so I ordered both for this shoe and tested it out. I ended up going with the wide, but after a couple weeks of wearing it I’m not sure I made the right decision. It has stretched a bit and feels somewhat sloppy. The cross straps closest to the toe scratch a bit, but I’m hoping this will improve with time. A nice looking shoe that I can wear with slacks, capris, shorts or even a casual skirt.

Beauty is not everything - When I received these I was so happy I couldn’t wait to try them on. But I was so disappointed when I did though. They hurt my feet right away. My feet are big and wide and these are definitely not the sandals for me. If you don’t have wide feet you should still try these because they are very pretty. The bottom comfort was there, it was just the bottom trap that went against my foot that hurt me.

The perfect replacement shoe! Like a good pair of jeans, I was long overdue to replace my (very) old and (very) “comfy” Clarks… and these are the winner. They are beautiful and comfortable! I have received so many compliments in such a short period of time. These shoes are very lightweight and stylish. They were a little snug when I first put them on, but as with any leather shoe it has stretched to a perfect fit with all the support that Clarks are known for. On my first day I had them I walked home from a friend’s which is over a mile away and had no blisters or soreness. No squeaks here! Finally my old Clarks can retire after a long and hard life!

Nice shoes, but they squeak - These shoes are great - comfy, cute. Only problem is, the pair I have squeak a great deal, which is a bit embarrassing. May just be a fluke with this particular pair. I am usually 100% satisfied with Clarks shoes, but had to rate this pair a little lower.
