I am enjoying the fit of these shoes; however, they squeak whenever I walk in them. It gets annoying when I wear them to work and everyone knows who is coming down the hall! I can’t tell if the squeak is in the buckles or not. I find it difficult to find wide size shoes in stores so I am happy to find Zappos online.

Immediately comfortably, no break-in necessary. My extra sensitive feet were happy all day on our first trip from the chilly north to Florida, touring an aquarium, city streets and an art museum, all in the same day.

Hooray! My all time favorite sandal (Clarks Sunbeat) is still available! After wearing my old Sunbeats pretty much nonstop for five summers, they were finally designated as yard work shoes. I despaired that I would ever again find a shoe as comfortable. Clarks Redwood ShoesWhen I logged on to Zappos and found the exact same shoe in their inventory, I was ecstatic! Wow! Very comfortable. I have rheumatoid arthritis. My feet and legs hurt if the shoe doesn’t support them good and leather has to be soft. I have a pair last summer and had to have another pair for this summer. Thanks for a shoe I can wear in comfort all day.

Clarks just don’t fit my feet - I bought these for a trip to Paris where we would be doing a lot of walking, even thought this is a very dowdy shoe, and no one under 90 should wear it. From the house to the airport, the shoes rubbed bloody places on my feet, even on the sole! I tried a different style, but had the same problem. They are just not right for my feet. The heels are quite large compared to the toe. On the other hand, the foot beds are beautifully cushy, enough so that I will try a mule to see if I can find a style that suits my feet and my style.

Clarks Sunbeat - My first pair of Clarks and I really like them. They didn’t have my size, so I ordered a half size larger, and unfortunately they were a little big. I have short feet and sandals that are too long just don’t look right. The other thing I noticed was that the leather was scratchy. I got a pair of Newbeat’s at the same time and the leather on those was supple and soft, like I’ve heard Clarks is supposed to be. I read a review from a lady who has purchased the Sunbeat for years, and she mentioned the same thing, and said she had noticed the Sunbeat that had scratchy leather was made in China. So I looked and sure enough, it said made in China. The Newbeats I ordered were made in Italy. Big difference in the way the leather felt. I am sending the Sunbeat’s back, not only because they are too long, but the leather rubbed against my foot and made it sore. I would love to buy a pair that is made in England or Italy. Other than that, I love the way they fit and would buy them again. Oh, and I did order the wide and it was plenty wide enough for my wide feet.

My Honest Opinion - I did not have any real major problem with the shoe. This comment is about your return. I believe your company has the best and easiest to follow return policy/directions ever. I had no problem and you also replied that you got the package. Good job.

Clarks Sunbeat - I ordered the Sunbeat in Midnight Blue. I also have this sandal in other colors and it has to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I would rather go walking in this sandal than any tennis shoe. It is the main shoe I did all my walking in on a cruise in 2006. Zappos has to be the best place to buy your shoes. Everyone is genuinely nice and helpful. I ordered my shoes one evening and had them the next afternoon. Great!!

Comfortable - I have trouble with bunions, so it is hard to find anything comfortable…I am glad that my granddaughter told me about you. I have wide feet and bunions so it is hard to find much in wide widths, but then I found the Sunbeat and they came in so fast, a few days, and they are so comfortable, I ordered two more pairs of shoes that will be for colder weather.

Comfortable! These are excellent shoes for comfort. I have purchased these same shoes for over 6 years. I have used them to walk all day when going to universal studios and my feet did not hurt. Highly recommend!

An old favorite, good as ever - These sandals are instantly comfortable, and the black nubuck is a deep, rich black. The shoe seems to fit my wide foot very nicely — usually I get WW, but plain old Wide works for Clarks Redwood Shoes. I do wish Clarks would make this sandal with just two straps — I think that would look less bulky and Birkenstocky, but all things considered, I keep comin’ back to Sunbeat’s.

Clarks Sunbeat The inside of the front straps of this shoe were stiff and not comfortable. After wearing for awhile the area became softer and more comfortable. I was looking mainly for comfort in the foot bed. This is comfortable although I would like something with even more cushion. Overall I do like this shoe.

Good no nonsense shoe - Well constructed, easy to stand in all day, good for walking. Took a couple of days to break in and the dye from the shoe stained my feet at first. It’s a little frumpy looking, but better than most wide sandals. The wide still felt a bit narrow, so I ordered a half size up and it was okay.

Clark - I was encouraged by all the rave reviews of these sandals from the other happy Sunbeat owners to purchase a pair from Zappos. I love them too! They are terrific sandals and I am so glad I bought them! Thank you Zappos for the wonderful service. These reviews are very helpful in finding comfortable shoes. My only wish is that they came in black leather. I definitely would plunk down my hard earned money for a second pair in black leather if I could.

Bought these for my mom; she is crazy about the look, the fit and she likes the color tan that I purchased for her. She has been wearing them ever since I gave them to her. Not quite the same - I have another pair of Clark’s, Sunbeats, which are much older than the pair I just purchased. The quality of the older pair appears superior to the new pair. The color is deep and rich, the leather better quality, and the finished stitching and edges are smoother. So, the comfort in the new pair is good, but that is it. Love ‘em - Although I get kidded about my strappy tanned foot, I live in my four pairs - about to be five - of these shoes. Comfortable and adjustable to my narrow foot.
