Perfect - I’m 55 w/arthritis and sensitive feet. The C width accommodates my bunions without being sloppy. The straps do not bind or rub and the cushioning is great! I can spend a good deal of time on my feet without pain. Although the 11 would probably be too short in a closed toe shoe it is perfect in this sandal. Thanks Zappos for great selection and service!
Love these shoes! I need wide shoes bought a pair in the honey in a 7 1/2 wide and they fit perfectly! The padding feels great and there is good arch support. I think I’ve finally found a replacement for my previous sandals, which, though they fit comfortably when on, were a little difficult to get on. With these having no back, I can just slide them on and be on my way. I love them so much that I came back and bought another pair in black.
Clark’s Firefly Won’t Disappoint! I have never been disappointed with Clark’s. The Firefly is a comfortable, cute slip-on sandal. Light in weight. Great for school (I am a teacher.) I would have loved an additional color, but it was unavailable.
Looks great, does not feel great. I purchased the Firefly sandal for a trip to Key West. On the first day of wear they felt fine but a bit stiff and the lining that rested over the top of my foot felt rough which made that area tender. By the end of my day I had 2 large blisters which affected the rest of my vacation. I switched to Tevas!
Looks great and comfy too! These shoes were comfy from the get-go! The needed no breaking in. They seem to run a little wider than regular Clarks, but that works well for my wide feet! Chirp, Chirp - I love the look of these sandals and they’re very comfortable, but they chirp like a bird when I walk and I’m not sure I can stand to wear them again! If it doesn’t get any better, they’re going back
Classy and comfortable–from start to finish - Since I broke my ankle two years ago, I have had a hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. My biggest problem has been finding shoes to fit my still-swollen foot–while the other foot is normal. I have to buy wide shoes for that reason. I saw Clarks Firefly in a local department store and fell in love with them. Of course the store didn’t carry wide shoes, so I was delighted to find them on Zappos. The first day I put these shoes on; I wore them all day at a museum. They were comfortable from start to finish. I really like the foot bed, which is cushioned and absorbent. Our weather here is hot and humid, and my perspiring feet don’t stick to the foot bed. We are going to do a lot of traveling this summer, and I know these sandals will be perfect for all the time I’m going to be spending on my feet.
This shoe runs a full size large, in my opinion. It does NOT have the comfort of other Clarks shoes, as it has no arch support. I was able to wear the shoes to the event for which I purchased them, but they will most certainly not be a “go to” shoe for me, as other Clarks have been. It is a good looking shoe and well made. I ordered wide and that runs true to size, but had to go down a full size from a 10 to a 9.
I have a problem with my high arch and the cut of this shoe fits right below the start of the arch and feels so good; I wear them to work everyday. I love the comfort and style. I have them in Birch, and get many compliments on them. Beverly G
Ouch! I love the look of these shoes; however, I have worn and worn them, trying to break them in. I get a blister on my big toe no matter how much I wear them. The straps also squeak as they rub together when I walk. I am bummed and looking for another shoe to replace these. I usually have such good luck with Clarks. These just didn’t do it for me.
Narrow foot with high arch –good, comfy sandal! I have a long narrow foot with a very high arch…AND I only wear comfortable shoes. I have tried on dozens and dozens of brown sandals, and this one is the winner! If they stretch out, I can put a heel pad inside the top band…but for now they are perfect. Clarks Roar Boots They are soft and comfy as soon as you put them on–no need for delayed gratification. I can wear them casually or with a dress. Mens Outdoor Shoes
Carol - For great comfort and fit, this is the closest to the previous Clarks Artisan I bought last year for my daughter and myself. They’re great for feet that aren’t great! I just recommended your site to several good friends.
You’ll wear this sandal all the time - This is the first time I have purchased Clarks brand shoes. I have hard to fit feet and these shoes fit and feel great. The only thing is that after a couple of weeks, the shoes started squeaking when I walk. I’m wearing them anyway.
Clarks Firefly, extremely comfortable and good looking - These sandals have an extremely comfortable foot bed, very cushioned without looking frumpy. I have a heel problem, so I can’t wear many sandals. I love the look as well, it is hard to tell from the picture, but the detailing in the leather is very nice. A little big, but not a half size too big.
Kikipania - This is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned! True to size, width and good quality. This shoe looks great too and would recommend to hard to fit people because I have a wide foot and this shoe is perfection.
Awesome Crocs! I have three pairs of Crocs — 1 each of Cayman, Metro and Beach — and have found that they all fit the same in length; they don’t run large, despite the warning from Zappos. I’m a swimming & diving official and we must wear white shoes on deck; wet shoes are always a problem. So I bought a pair of white Metro Crocs and became the envy of other swimming officials … These dry so quickly! I used them the whole swim season and was very happy — so happy, in fact, that I quickly bought a pair of navy Caymans that I have been wearing several days each week in late winter/early spring with Smartwool mid-weight hiking socks. Great combo for keeping your feet warm and comfortable in the northern Ohio climate; I recommend it! A couple of weeks ago I bought a pair of red Beach Crocs for a color switch. The Beach Crocs are the “biggest” of the three pairs in that they are a bit wider than the Metro and Cayman styles, but the length is the same. I usually wear size 8 in casual and sports shoes, and all my Crocs are size 8. I would not want them to be either longer or shorter. I will definitely be getting at least one more pair of Caymans to expand my color choices for summer.
Great shoe! What still amazes me about this shoe is how light it is. However make sure you don’t listen to the reviews about getting a size smaller. Is you got to the “croc” website, they explain why the shoe SHOULD be loose. Can’t wait till summer to get some more use out of them! Clarks Roar Boots. Mens Outdoor Shoe.
I love them. They are very comfortable. I have been a bit frustrated with the straps as they don’t lay the way I’d like. My kids both have them though, and their straps are fine. They aren’t the most beautiful shoe, but trendy and worth it!
I felt like Goldilocks! One shoe was too small, one shoe was too large, but I couldn’t find a shoe that was just right! I wear a 10.5 and found that the 10 was just a little too short, (although plenty wide at the vamp) and the 11 was way too big in every aspect. If the ankle strap extended to the heel on the shoe, a 10 might have worked.
This shoe is very light. Very true to size, but quite wide. It still hangs on my foot well though. It grabs attention because it so “quirky cute”. I wish they came in half sizes though. My mother had to return hers because it really can’t be too big or too small…doesn’t work well on your foot unless it is just right.
My daughter got me hooked on them! My daughter told me about Crocs, and being a “shoe person,” I just had to have a pair, then two, then three, then… I love them. I work in the medical field, wear scrubs, and now I can be color coordinated as well as have comfortable feet. I have a wide foot and these are perfect for me.
A great shoe! I found that a smaller size, while it did fit,was a bit too short. I ordered another pair (different style)in my normal shoe size and they fit wonderful. The good thing about Zappos is that you can return the item if it doesn’t work for you. Overall, a great shoe! Clarks Roar Boots.
Love the Croc! I think these are the ugliest shoes I own, but they are THE MOST COMFORTABLE I’ve ever worn. I bought them after starting to have fascia problems and can’t wear my flops without pain. They are lightweight and have a wide toe box and I’ve forgotten I even have them on at times.
After many foot surgeries I thought these shoes would be the answer to my dreams. Not so. I ordered a size 6 and they were too large but I decided to keep them and wear them with socks for gardening. They were perfect and wash off easily. I tried the next size smaller on at a store and my toes were pushed forward and not comfortable. If you can find the right fit they will be so comfortable and lightweight on you. Good luck.
Since the day my crocs arrived in the mail, I have not taken them off other than to go to bed. Crocs are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. They are so light weight, they feel as if I have no shoe on at all. I have the beige and they go with about everything. I love the look, the feel and the price. I will continue to buy crocs for a long time.
